This documentary explores the meaning of living in a place that until ten years ago did not exist, the key to do this is represented by the eternal dichotomy between men and nature. The Noord-Holland as now is an artificial universe and since the Dutch abstracted kilometer areas to the sea, they created the conditions for organizing a life dedicated to the exploitation of wind and water. Through the construction of a huge network of canals, dams and windmills, the Dutch over the centuries have laid the foundations to become one of the most powerful and autonomous peoples of the placet.
