A coming of age, cautionary tale. Live action with animation. 17-year-old Marisa Garcia, a visionary graffiti artist is trapped in the Albuquerque underworld exposed in ‘Breaking Bad.’ She escapes to tunnels beneath the city where she takes her problems to the wall. At a crossroads she encounters the spirit of her dead Grandmother, who appears like in ‘A Christmas Carol’ to Scrooge. She’s shown her future in visions. First, her potential as a fine artist where she must have the courage to take the leap into a frightening, unknown world. Another where she follows her current path leading to her demise with gang life, drugs, and a violent relationship. And last, her train—which has left the station…will she jump on or will it pass her by? |
