URBAN TOOTH DECAY involves two men, a missing tooth and a breakdown in communication. A city park sets the scene for the desperate search of a hapless young man, who is constantly distracted from his pursuit by an annoyingly philosophical, former game show host. The award-winning script was performed by prominent actors such as Stephen McHattie during a live reading at Ed Video Media Art Centre’s 2013 Screenwriting Competition. The tooth cannot be long hidden in this production from the writer-director of ‘High and Dry’, another successful short comedy which screened at the Route 66 International Film Festival and Great Ongoing Guelph Independent Film Festival (Go-GIFF) in 2012 and 2013, respectively. |
