Prohibitions. Stop. Do Not. Not there. We are raised having to abide by all kinds of rules, imposed upon us by family, schools, society. So much so, that we continue to recreate prohibitions for ourselves, or look for them in others even if they are truly not there. By this video, I decide to allow prohibitions to cease to exist. I Transform a STOP sign into Liberty, by first obeying it and then “disobey” it. That night in Los Angeles, I was Inspired by an amazing improvised instant theatre performance at Rachel Rosenthal’s Espace (space) and I felt at Home artistically, so I did what I do when I am Inspired; I film. Every city I am in, becomes a most hospitable setting, natural perfect lighting, mystical spaces, embracing and expressive shadows, trees and sounds, all at my disposal, with open, limitless possibilities and freedom to Be Who I Am. Once the procedure of being conscious of our surroundings begins, then we discover the Trees and their Roots. We recognize them as we begin to recognize our own Roots. We Belong.
