During the making of this documentary film, students investigated the impacts of the tourist industry on Maui’s environment and culture. The students explore the impacts of tourism development on Maui’s economy, fresh water resources, and cultural identity. Through interviews with community members and their own observations, the students search for ways to make the future of our largest industry more beneficial to our environment and local residents. |
