In the process of being chased by suspects high on methamphetamines, Scott Devereaux slides through the intersection of Palms and Sepulveda in West Los Angeles, and collides, tragically and irrevocably, with a Jeep bearing a young foreign exchange student, Barbara Galvao, on her way to the airport to pick up a friend. Thus, begins one of the most intense processes that a person can go through - the process of forgiving oneself for an act that seems unforgivable. |
