What happens when a financially successful but discontented family of five stop their hectic lives, load up their backpacks and travel around the world, in an effort to re-set their priorities? The filmmakers gave the Donovans a camcorder and training. So, 11 months, 5 continents, 9 countries and 25,000 miles later, they had the makings of a documentary.
