In the corridor of an apartment building, a girl with a particularly elegant appearance, full of impatience and anxiety, waits for a locksmith, to unlock the door of an apartment for her. The locksmith arrives, opens the door with skillful movements and hands her the key. She thanks him, with a subtle, but nevertheless uneasy smile. Upon closing the door, the girl comes face to face with the atmosphere of the apartment; an untidy apartment, full of carton boxes, wrapped up things and several bills scattered on the floor. After the initial numbness and the first glance, her eyes move freely around the apartment, peering nostalgically into the place that apparently belongs to a person she once had an affair with. She has a feeling that some of the objects talk to her and some stare sadly at her, stirring her memory. However, this contemplation of the past is but a real trial for the girl, a trial that is going to bring her to a state of inner conflict and make her feel suspended between her initial intention and her final purpose. Later on, seated on the sofa, she will start to talk to a phonograph. A message will be left behind…
