Teenager Blue Sunday shows up at the farm of Arlene Haskil, an eccentric middle-aged woman, claiming to have a flat tire. However, Blue’s visit is no accident; she wants to figure out Arlene’s connection to her father, in the hope that this discovery will explain her parents’ broken relationship. She initially blames Arlene for the latter but gradually discovers that the situation is more complicated. An unexpected twist in Blue’s discovery helps the two of them find a piece of themselves they never knew they were missing.
