Details:

Inference observes a woman as she sits in a cafe. This informal vignette explores the subtle yet charged emotions of everyday life in a relationship. The film concerns itself with themes of ethics in love as well as being inherently linked to ideas of culture, and film theory. This is the second film to come from a series of films by Ben Fredericks called Portraits of a Utilitarian Love in which the artist simply invites the audience to watch a story unfold, leaving the potential consequences open to interpretation.
