Jake is a lonely bachelor in love with his neighbour, Sue. He is fantasizing about having a romantic candlelit dinner with her. The fantasy is interrupted by a knock on the door. It’s Sue, looking to borrow sugar. He gives her a new bag, then asks if she’d like to come for dinner. She can’t, as she’s seeing someone. She wants the sugar to bake him cookies.. She kisses Jake on the cheek, then leaves him alone with his disappointment. |
