Reflections of Us, is a documentary film revealing insights into Edith Anisfield-Wolf, founder of The Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards on it’s 75th Anniversary. The Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards recognize books internationally that have made important contributions to our understanding of racism and our appreciation of the rich diversity of human cultures. The 2010 Anisfield-Wolf winners along with a host of others, share their thoughts, impressions and stories of this amazing woman year ahead of her time, establishing this distinguished book prizes in 1935 opening and challenged our minds. We follow the award ceremony hosted by the Cleveland Foundation and emceed by Jury Chair Henry Louis Gates Jr. with Oprah Winfrey, William Julius Wilson, Kamila Shamsie and Elizabeth Alexander.
