Late 19th century Paris, Camille, is a young, gifted clockmaker and only daughter to the finest clockmaker that ever was, Master de Maintenant. One day, while working at her father’s workshop, a strange chain of events lead to the arrival of an unusual customer, Pierre. For wherever he goes, it rains. He brings a mysterious pocket watch to be repaired. The two fall in love at first sight. But nothing is as it should be. Inexplicably so, time stops whenever they are together. However the fate of the destined lovers is divided by broken time and forbidden love when it is revealed that Pierre is none other then the very son of her father’s greatest rival, Master Clockmaker de Contretemps. |
