Based on a short story by Silvia Ivanova, The Icon paints a casual meeting between two mature strangers in a luxury hotel in Sofia, the Capital of Bulgaria: Claudia, an Italian writer woman, and Aaron, an English business man. The story will develop with a series of surprises revealing a touching and unbelievable history. Forty years before, due to an emergency landing of their flight to Sofia, the two protagonists got to know and loved each other for one night in the same hotel. Then they lost every contact because of a fatality. But life reserves unexpected things to the two protagonists who have never forgotten that night. |
