Set in 1992. After losing his job as a phone book editor, Pete Wilkinson embarks on a quest to find the right job. Consumed by his obsessions and following the signs of fate; Pete is led through an odd world of eccentrics, bureaucracy, buffalo, a six-foot chicken and those little do hickey thingies. Along the way, his quest for employment turns into a journey of self-discovery in which he finds his voice, his fortune, true happiness and thousands and thousands of staples. |
