In the style of My Dinner with Andre, this dark dramedy witnesses a woman at crossroads in her life reaching out for new age guidance and getting, instead, a large dose of what unseated her in the first place. Marianne has just turned 40. Lost and searching for answers, she invites a strange woman into her home for an astrology reading, unaware that the woman is crazy. The reading quickly dissolves into an abusive diatribe laced with jewels of wisdom. Marianne anchors herself to these jewels and survives the reading just as she survived her childhood. In seeking for answers outside herself, Marianne discovers her own inner strength.
