The first public exhibition of artist Jennifer White Kuri’s Global Women Project is presented here as a studio space is converted to exhibition space. This evolving cycle of portraits chronicles thirteen women who are influential in their respective areas of the globe. Each of them are working to change their social, political and physical environments for the better. This, the First Portrayals, presents the first of the completed paintings as well as the works in progress. |
