A young woman (Michela Canon) struggles to face her mundane life when she is unexpectedly visited by a mystic vision (Katelyn McColloch) who urges her to confront her fears and most importantly, herself. Told through dance and subtle physical and spacial cues, the film discusses ideas of longing, fear, isolation, and the psyche. Director Selamawit Ghebrehiwot has created a mystic reality where fantasy and fear play themselves out in a dance that asks us to reconsider taking a risk. |
