A trio of friends enjoy a late-afternoon drink: Brent, a trendy rabble-rouser; Quentin, an uncertain suburban homeowner; and Tex, an honest-to-goodness Old West gunslinger. Quentin has a problem: Karen, one of his neighbors is using her influence (and that of her not-so-intimidating crony, Arnold) to increase her allotted space in the shared community garden plot. She has already forced one family out altogether, and is poised to continue her claim-jumping. Brent berates Quentin for his lack of backbone, and notes Tex’s steadfast moral code as the measure of true character. Inspired by Tex’s example, Quentin chooses to confront his neighborhood nemesis in a final, Western-inspired showdown.
