This is the story of a single man, Adam Markowitz from Upstate New York and his dog, Walter… who was inspired to DO something for New Orleans after hearing Harry Connick, Jr.’s song ‘All These People’ on the radio. As a piano tuner and dealer he decided to bring pianos back to New Orleans (from Upstate New York) and give them away for free. This documents how a single individual can make an enormous difference to churches, schools, prodigies and the musicians of New Orleans… by bringing the music back to New Orleans …one piano at a time. |
