Phoebe, a shy and awkward girl, sees Soccer Girl while she is sitting in a cafe, and is immediately love struck. Phoebe follows after her, but mistakes another girl for her. Dejected, Phoebe starts walking home, and she sees Soccer Girl in the park playing soccer. Phoebe walks closer, and the soccer ball rolls over to her. Panicking, Phoebe hurls the ball, and accidentally hits Soccer Girl in the head. Phoebe runs away once she realizes what she’s done. The next day, Phoebe sits in her usual spot once again, and to her surprise, Soccer Girl shows up and joins Phoebe. They exchange furtive glances as they sit and read together.
