The documentary shot ‘Amiri’ is a portrait of a famous Georgian artist, Amir Kakabadze. Amiri is the son of a great Georgian artist Davit Kakabadze. In spite of a successful career, it is very hard for him to find himself in his father’s shadow. His life has become a constant struggle. His works have been exhibited abundantly at exhibitions in Georgia and Europe, though it is not enough to get him out of his father’s shadow. Amiri’s son Davit, has chosen a different way of life, following it quietly and in a working mood. Amiri lived his life and work, struggling in this way with himself and the world, between two Davits. The film is dedicated to the memory of Amir Kakabadze.
