A once famous, now very aged (103 years), dancer/choreographer lays dying in a hospital bed attended by a young nurse who knows of the dancer’s life and first film appearance in 1923. A film that the dancer reviles as a betrayal of her art. Reminded of this film she fantasizes ‘rewriting history’ by dancing a revisionist interpretation in the body of the nurse. |
