Denny, a charming Texan, has been looking for his estranged firecracker wife for ten years, only to find her living in the rivalry land of Oklahoma. In a meeting on the border neither will cross state lines, and in comic and tender fashion they are forced to finally confront the issues of their difficult marriage and southern comfort zones.
