THE WINDOWS is Daniel Strehlau’s first fiction short film. The film depicts a young writer sitting in front of his typewriter, struggling with a story, staring out the window. He perceives people in interrelated situations in various emotional states. The viewer sees love, solitude, tragedy, and death. At the end of the film, we discover that what they’ve just seen is a fiction in the mind of the writer.
