This unique interactive movie follows the story of a teacher that discovers one of her 6th grade students has HIV. Viewers make choices for the teacher and see those how decisions lead to different outcomes. In My Year with Tony, you discover that Tony is living with HIV/AIDS. Each choice you make thereafter affects your students, your relationship to their parents, and your future career as a teacher. You make decisions regarding confidentiality, first aid and universal precautions, and sports participation. You tackle the mental health needs of chronically ill children, the difficulties of teacher-parent relationships, and the many questions children have regarding death.
