Arturo waits for his wife to give birth to his long awaited son. But severe complications of the woman’s pregnancy stage, exacerbated by a near car wreck, have disrupted his life dream of having a healthy baby. In the other corner of the emergency room sits Raul, a widow and father of a 4-year-old boy. Today is not only his son’s birthday, but also the anniversary of his wife’s death, who died giving birth to their baby. After a severe accident which occurs minutes prior to their acquaintance, Raul awaits for the surgeon’s response of his son’s life. As we follow their conversation we realize how much they have in common.
