At a funeral, 11 year old Thomas recounts the events that led to his father’s death to his newly appointed guardian, Aunt Evelyn. He tells her how he found a man claiming to be from the future hiding in his garden shed. Through flashbacks both Thomas and the man are revealed to be dealing with their own personal horrors; the boy is abused by his father and the man is traumatized by war. Together they form a unique bond and finally find someone they can trust. |
