ADORATION, a wildlife docudrama by Ian Woodward, FZS (Fellow of the Zoological Society of London), is a portrait of the English countryside seen through the seasons, its fauna and flora, forests and waterways, and through the eyes of Nature Woman. It was filmed around the countryside of Hertfordshire, the filmmaker’s home county, 30 kilometers north of London. Accompanied by inspiring music and the filmmaker’s screenplay-in-verse. There is also a hidden religious message at the heart of ADORATION - Nature is every bit a place of worship as a cathedral made in stone. The character of Nature Woman is the physical embodiment of the film’s imagery and sentiments. |
