Details:

The citizens’ group ‘Citizens Against Special Privilege of Koreans in Japan’ (Zaitokukai), led by Chairman Makoto Sakurai, is the only group that has been mentioned by name in South Korea and called the ‘far-right anti-Korean group.’ This documentary film follows Chairman Sakurai up-close and personal for two days in February 2013 during a demonstration to regain Takeshima. The film starts when Makoto Sakurai arrives in Haneda Airport to head to Shimane Prefecture, where the ‘Regain Takeshima! Sever ties with the ROK! Gathering and Citizen’s March in Shimane’ would take place. During his interaction with participants, we see a lighthearted side of him, but when the demonstration begins the following day, he puts on a stern look and becomes the Zaitokukai Chairman from head to toe.
