‘Alana’ tells the story of a young woman whose neglect and abuse lead her down a dark path with fatal consequences. Alana’ addresses issues that are often overlooked and down played in our society. Gray feels that ‘’Alana’ shines a light on the impact parents - and men in particular - have on the psyches and lives of young women. Evans adds, ‘There are so many versions of Alana in the world right now. No one wants to admit it. It’s raw, it’s ugly, but it’s the truth. |
