‘Borrowing an HDMI Cable’ is a short comedy film about a person attempting to borrow an HDMI cable from a friend. While borrowing the cable from his friend he discovers that his friend’s finance has died in a car accident. His interactions with his friend turn comically awkward as he tries to extradite himself from the situation so that his efforts to comfort his friend do not ruin what he has planned for the day. ‘Borrowing an HDMI Cable’ ends with an interesting development, which leaves its implications open to interpretation by the audience.
