Over the years of frequent moving out of one place and into another, the artist’s Jewish family has developed the ability to adapt quickly to new living conditions. Her relatives know foreign languages and customs. Spain has become their temporary Eldorado as it was the only country that did not arrest its Jewish citizens during World War II. The film presents the life of a family burdened with the painful awareness of history. |
