Michael and Kerry Harold are wanting to start a family and their first order of business is to move out of Michael’s apartment and buy a home. After their 7th attempt, they find the perfect home. It even has an extra room for Michael’s writing studio. Life is good until during the move in,they realize they grabbed the wrong box from Michael’s childhood home, a box containing items that his dad kept when he was the Chief Psychologist at the local mental institution, Collins Hospital, back in the mid 80’s. After digging through its contents, Kerry begins to have nightmares and see images around the home that convinces her that they are being haunted by the ghost of the woman described in the patient’s files as “Subject 23- Violet”. Michael dismisses these claims until he tracks down the son of a former doctor at Collins Hospital and discovers never before seen VHS tapes from the hospital. Now the question becomes who is Violet and how do they make her stop? But perhaps the most important and shocking, was why was his dad, the Chief Psychologist at Collins Hospital, trying to cover it up? |
