Every day a young inverted accountant carries his baggage to work, physically and mentally. His OCD, his nervousness. He’s comfortable with numbers, not people. The tension builds quickly in this psychological drama as his co-workers have little care for his humanity. Even his boss feels that abuse is fair play with the tightly wrapped youngster, till the accountant is pushed to find a way to leave his baggage behind. A haunting score, and tight editing leave the audience holding their breath with the intensity and trajectory of a burdened young man squeezed by a society that does not have room for him. A silent film that you’ll leave the theater talking about. |
