A dark tale of love and betrayal. The story is set in Venice and exudes a full-on Italian flavor, with the opening shot taking the viewer on a one-way trip up the city’s famous Grand Canal. However, the Italian ambiance is also interspersed with authentic Film Noir photography which is designed to reflect the dark heart and passions of the protagonist - a man tormented by betrayal and one who is hell-bent on seeking a deadly revenge… Jack, the protagonist, has fallen in love with a much younger woman and he writes a beautiful love song in an attempt to declare his feelings for her. However, he lacks the courage (not to mention the voice!) to sing it to her. However, he knows a man who can - a local Karaoke Star - and he employs him to do the job on his behalf. But that’s his first big mistake, and it’s where the trouble, and our story, begins…
