‘Eggs’ is a funny, sad, caustic and sweet film about Gwen and Audrey, two old friends who’ve changed a bit, stayed the same a bit, and are trying to figure out how the world just seems to keep on changing around them. Some day, two smart, witty, and pretty friends who took different paths may sit down over breakfast and try to figure out just what the hell happened to each of them; where they’ve been, where they’re going, and how to make sense of what’s going on now - baby spit up, a lackluster boyfriend, dangerous yoga positions, sex and lack thereof, fear of being a bad mommy and fear of being a mommy at all—and that’s Eggs. |
