Javier is a graduate student who is struggling to write a novel. He feels as though he is unable to convey interesting stories because his life is so boring. One night, after having too much to drink, he dreams that the ghost of a famous writer stops him from committing suicide. The writer convinces him that he must take risks in his everyday life in order to have a proper inspiration for his writing. He wakes up with a new sort of optimism. For inspiration, he decides to got a party with Ava. The party does not turn out to be what Javier expected. Two robbers in masks break into the house, and capture Ava. Javier’s world becomes the drama he wants to write about.
