Claude, an unscrupulous and opportunistic lawyer, gets more than he bargains for when he chases a would-be thief into unknown territory. There he tries to cheat a fortune teller who practices black magic, and ultimately it costs him his voice, his job, and his girlfriend. Finally, Claude repents of his ways and is able to regain his life, but only after expressing repentance for his evil ways. In the end, however, Claude is not the only one who pays a price for lying. |
