Saved From the Grave is a romantic/horror/comedy short in the spirit of Shawn of the Dead, Fido, Harvey and A Dangerous Mind. Reid is a depressed, struggling musician who cannot get over the tragic death of his best man mere minutes before his wedding. A zombie fanatic, he conjures up a zombie version of his best friend, Dan. Zombie Dan reminds Reid of what truly matters in life. He is a “lovable” ghoul who helps Reid overcome his guilt, thwart a rival for his fiancée’s affection, and write the song that will propel his career. |
