It’s 1978 in the far outer suburbs of Brisbane and greyhound trainer Mick, is struggling to make a living for his family. He is so certain that his young maiden greyhound will win and bring him success, that he puts all the family’s money on the line. With his back to the wall, Mick comes up with a plan that takes the family to a small country track where he believes she cannot lose. |
