A weekend getaway is just what MARK TAYLOR, thinks he and his teenage son, EVAN need in the wake of the death of the former’s own dad. Fearing he will make the same mistakes his own father made with him, which served to alienate them from one another, Mark is certain a weekend at the family cabin just outside Louisiana, Missouri will serve to strengthen the bonds between father and son and foster a new time of understanding between them. Little do they know, however, that in their absence, someone-or rather something else has laid claim to the property. Soon what begins at first as some curious occurrences, which Mark chalks up to trespassers reveals itself to be “Missouri’s own Bigfoot” on a rampage of revenge, with his sight set on the Taylors, who must fight together to survive a night of terror.
