The result of two friends traveling across an ocean to make a location feature film with nothing but a script and a camera, The Paris Project is the story of Jeffrey, a New Yorker living an uninspired life after the death of his parents. Struggling to find meaning in his late 20s, Jeffrey decides to sell off his Dad’s old car to head to Paris, France in search of the artist whose work he’s been obsessed with. Undeterred by the fact that the artist is a fiery woman with her own struggles and a distinct disinterest in him, Jeffrey takes it upon himself to try to help her. In the process of focusing on her, he learns about himself. The Paris Project is a film about getting out of one’s element in attempt to find purpose and passion in life. |
