From an initiative of the Barefoot College of Bunker Roy to bring electricity in small villages around the world without any forms of it. Take the women of the villages and take them to India to teach engineer. After six months these women are ‘Barefoot Solar Engineers’ and they fly back to their own villages with the sun with them. As Bunker Roy says: They leave as afraid lambs, they move back as Bengala Tigers. |
