Wayne Jenkins, an auto mechanic single father of six children, takes Maggie, his youngest daughter, to the emergency room after she suddenly falls gravely ill. At the same time, a hearse driver goes to the same hospital. Two worlds collide in this southern dramedy with a touch of magical realism. Wayne’s beliefs may or may not change after his adventure at the hospital. As a bonus, he may even fall in love again. |
