The hero of the film is about to become a star of a variety show. He is young, charming, surrounded by women; however, his relationships with them are fleeting. And, of course, because of the numerous breakups and broken hearts, the hero’s soul is restless. He believes that there is some kind of subconscious problem that makes him flee relationships, and the proof of this problem is his all too lucid memories of former girls. He is convinced that such vivid memories of past relationships signify their incompleteness. And if the past is incomplete how can one put in order the present? Thus reasons the hero, and in order to sort through all this, he goes to a psychotherapist. He tells the therapist about his last girlfriend, whose parting was especially hard for him. However, the longer the hero talks, the more details he mentions, the more clearly the therapist sees that the true problem they are discussing is not a psychological one, and that the hero is not completely honest, hiding something important not only from the psychotherapist, but also from himself. |
