Three stories connect around a pawn shop, the objects that three characters desire and how that desire transforms their lives. Papillon buys a butterfly pendant and uses it to connect to her lost child. A rich man facing the loss of everything, sells his treasured pocket watch, only to rob the shop in an attempt to recover it. A broke mime tries to reconnect with his past glory by raising the money to buy the auto harp he used to play. Starring Academy Award Winner Melissa Leo, and Golden Globe Winner Alex Ebert. Featuring music ‘Butterfly’ performed by Toby Rand and composed by 2013 Best Pop Album Grammy Winner, Alex Geringas. |
