Benton Doe is a wistful schoolteacher who yearns for a colonial life of adventure like his favorite literary hero, Paul Revere. When his son catches him dressed up in the attic filming an audition tape for the Historical Alliance of Colonial Reenactors Benton struggles to hide his embarrassment. Yet he clings to the hope that he may finally find acceptance as the antiquated romantic he is. |
