The Perfect Martini-O is an improvisational comedy that combines the exaggerated contours of American ‘Big Fish’ stories and the swashbuckling English bravado of ‘Withnail and I’ in the tale of two drunken young artists chasing peace of mind and family history. Noah and Lou, two down on their luck roommates, follow the trail of Noah’s grandfather and the legendary ‘Perfect Martini-O’ to sunny Ocean Beach on Fire Island. They arrive during off-season when everything is cold, closed, and isolated. Frozen and depressed they try to rekindle the spark of their friendship and find the legendary cocktail they set out for. |
