Autrefois is a short film inspired by the poems that Yvonne Sursock Cochrane wrote for her husband. The aim is to metaphorically represent the transition between the youth and adult age. The story is lead by the character of the NARRATOR. He is the one who allows the characters to come alive and undertake their inner journey. The setting of the film is an East London rooftop divided in three equal parts by a short brick wall, which creates the space for the action. Each space belongs to a character and the wall is the only physical meeting point for HER and HIM, while the NARRATOR is allowed to move freely around the three parts of the rooftop. . |
